Christina Hendricks
Christina Hendricks (born April 15, 1977) is an American actress best known for playing Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of AMC's historical drama Mad Men. The show brought her six Emmy nominations, including best supporting actor and critical praise. The span of her career, which has spanned over two decades has included appearances in the crime comedy series Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. Her performance is noted in movies like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River, The Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. In addition, her voice can be heard on the animated films From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 & Scoob! Earlier she began her career as a model. She continued with it for several years before making her acting debut on TV with the anthology show Undressed at the end of 1999. The drama comedy show Beggars and Choosers, her first major role was played. Then she received praise for her role in Firefly. Esquire magazine awarded her the distinction of being the sexiest and the most beautiful American woman in 2010, in their annual poll.
