Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights activist and charitable philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law. Her long career has earned her international acclaim by her contributions to international law and the field that deals with human rights. Her high-profile clients have included several nation-states including the country of Armenia as it fights to be recognized as Armenia's participation in the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was engaged in 2014 and later was married in 2015 to American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household name. In the past, she had been known for her success in representing her clients before courts and had a good reputation. It is her job to represent multinational corporations during court hearings and discussions about government regulation, and also human rights and social justice.
